Description
Stardoll Entertainment, Inc. is currently seeking an Online Marketing Manager in Hollywood. In this role, you will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing and work closely with the Directors of Sales for the U.S. You will solicit a thorough understanding of client business needs and translate them into creative and compelling online strategies, while ensuring timely delivery on your deliverables. You will have a passion of online media, fashion and social networking. An understanding of teen and “tween” entertainment will be ideal. We seek a self-starter with high level of initiative, energy and passion for our brand. You will work on multiple campaigns with competing priorities and deadlines, so an ability to work well under pressure is a must have. The ability to lead by example and inspire others will also be expected of you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for understanding the client business top to bottom in order to give strategic guidance
• Oversee site content quality, profit and loss performance and traffic/market share
• Generate ideas for improving engagement and satisfaction with the site, content presentation and organization, and usability
• Identifies new content sources; creates new program concepts market
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment; strategizing one minute, brainstorming the next and then troubleshooting in a collaborative highly functioning learning environment
• Execute assigned marketing activities including product positioning, creative development (packaging, advertising creative, website), media strategy, online community development and promotions
REQUIREMENTS
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Min 3 years online marketing experience
• Min 2 years brand marketing experience
• Min 1 year Marketing Management experience managing teams and projects
• Ability to translate loosely defined marketing and sales business goals into defined online projects
• Active rolodex and proven ability to network, partner, negotiate and integrate effectively with other business partners and clients
• Deep understanding and working experience in the online media/entertainment industry Fashion and kids experience a plus
• Ability to direct all aspects of a complex project, including product conceptualization and design, art, writing, and technical implementation
• Outstanding demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills
• Flawless attention to detail and strong organizational management skills
• Understanding and ability to convey legal guidelines surrounding children’s web sites
