Description
Award-winning international bridal and prom gown design company looking for a sensational experienced Head Designer.
Duties include:
-Design trendy couture gowns, which appeal to our target customers.
-Supervise and work within the team to make decisions about future styles and the overall range.
-Submit detail pages and revision documents to production, in a clear and well understood manner.
Ideal Candidate will posses the following qualities:
-5-7 years of experience in the fashion design industry; 2-3 yrs in bridal or special occasion.
-Excellent design, color, and fabrication sense
-Have the ability to create original hand sketches of potential styles
-Create technical packages, that include fabrication and detailed instructions
-Good understanding of construction, draping and pattern making
-Proficient on Macs and know Microsoft Office programs, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
-Portfolio and references required.
Full-time w/benefits.
Wage: Based on experience.
Position located in Salt Lake City, UT.
Requires 20% international travel.
