Description
Standard office support activities: email and phone conversations, scheduling appointments, following up on projects for clients, performing errands, organizing design files and information.
Additional office activities: cataloguing vintage dresses, assisting at sales and business appointments and presentations, making mood boards, collecting swatches of leathers and materials for bag and shoe designs.
Must be up-beat, extremely professional in demeanor and attitude, well-spoken, very polite and well turned out. Have some knowledge of or interest to learn about fashion accessories, retail, materials and processes. Detail oriented a must, with standard skills on the web and with programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
If you can use Illustrator, Photoshop or CAD programs...then on occasion there could be additional take-home work for additional pay as well.
We need someone who is willing to jump right in and who is flexible, available, eager to work, make a little extra cash and to learn about the inner workings of a fashion business as it is coming together to launch.
