Description
57GRAND, a bridesmaid dress designer launched in Fall 2009 is seeking an energetic, hyper-organized office manager to grow with us.
Responsibilities of the Office / Operations Manager include:
• Oversee the customer order process, including coordinating customer orders for samples, swatches, responding to customer inquiries
• Coordinate production orders with local factory facilities
• Oversee and manage fulfillment of customer orders
• Administer basic tasks on Website, including updates / changes
• Assist with photo shoots, publicity / PR
• General office administration duties
You will be part of a fun and dynamic team. The team will initially be small, consisting of the 2 partners of 57GRAND and you. Additional hires and/or part time help will be brought on as needed. You will be exposed to all facets of a well-financed startup bridal business, from design/styling and public relations to financial planning and costing. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a background in apparel/retail
• Extremely detail oriented personality
• Highly organized, independent worker, able to juggle many tasks simultaneously and follow through
• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge of PerfectFit software, graphic design skills, and/or interest in bridal business a plus
Compensation and Start Date
The position is a full-time position located in midtown Manhattan’s garment district. Start date is November/ December 2009. Compensation is $30,000-40,000 based on experience, health benefits will be provided.
