Description
Charming Shoppes is aggressively expanding our direct to consumer businesses through our ecommerce channels and we are currently in search of an experienced and motivated professional to join our dynamic business group and can provide value for this high growth area.
Fashion Bug is currently in search of an Online Content Specialist with experience in a high volume, fast paced, growing ecommerce environment. The online contect specialist will enter and publish online product content and art. Setup and maintain merchandise position of products, collections, landing pages on fashionbug.com. Perform QA on all product and offer launches online. This role includes cross-functional activities within the ecommerce team to support site merchandising programs.
Essential Functions:
Work with the merchants to assure completion of accurate merchandise information online. Coordinate with the Online Merchant and Planners to update merchandise position on a routine basis to keep the site fresh.
Become an expert in OCP Site Manager and related ecommerce platforms.
Works with product planning to make sure linking is accurate for all products. Frequently look at other CS sites for ideas that might be applied to improvement of the FB site.
Responsible for executing the online planning calendar and tracking of new, open, or completed project activities. Pushes new merchandise to the website in a timely manner using the process calendar as a guide.
Work in a support role on special projects, landing page launches or new product launches. Work with manager to implement website functionality or system updates. Serve as backup for all content setup (home, landing pages, banners).
Responsible for communicating pertinent information to customer service including changes to the website, email content and campaign specific direct mail pieces.
Executes daily QA for every new product deployed, all product changes, and all offer or promotional launches. Partners with the fulfillment center on ecommerce merchandising scanning, ticketing or quality control steps. ) Acts as a testing liaison with corporate teams for new rollouts of Site Manager and related product linking tools. Trouble shoot and work with manager to resolve any site problems.
Works with marketing to assign item numbers to marketing pieces/mailers. Works with marketing team to assure source codes are present and working.
Manage and test for Omniture tagging on all pages within the site. Review and analyze SEO tagging within site page code and report to the editorial staff on missing tagging.
Utilize Omniture to identify high abandonment on web site product pages and suggest updates, new art, additional copy to support the stickiness of all pages and directly impact site performance.
Partner with pricing coordinator and ecommerce marketing team on upcoming promotions to ensure clarity on the site for customers and accurate tracking for sales and visitors.
Requirements
3-5 years experience as a member of an ecommerce or online merchandising team
Degree in merchandising, technology or business related field is a plus
HTML, Photoshop, Dreamweaver or other website production skills are highly desirable
Experience with Omniture analytics
Experience with multi-channel business preferred
Good communication and partnership mindset
Attention to detail & accuracy, adheres to deadlines and strong analytical skills
