TECHNICAL DESIGNER / PRODUCTION COORDINATOR – High-End Luxury Brand
DESCRIPTION
• Collaborate with pattermakers on creation of a style to
establish the initial spec and construction detail. Create tech packs/trim sheets accordingly.
• Schedule and conduct weekly fit sessions and reduce number of fittings per style.
• Track and manage fit and sample test garments; gather information and update all reports necessary.
• Identify potential production, quality and costing issues and
make recommendations to ensure brand integrity.
• Execute design and fit intent into bulk production while
maintaining corporate standard; pre-production sample approvals.
• Oversee accuracy of domestic grading/marking, cutting rooms, and factories.
• Perform quality control inspection on all WIP to determine compliance of spec, construction, and quality standards.
• Preparation of trim packages and allocations to domestic factories.
• Assisting in sourcing new factories as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Expertise in patternmaking including grading, specing, construction
• and fit.
• Knowledge of construction standards and manufacturing
• methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi task.
• Ability to proactively trouble shoot and problem solve.
• 5 years experience in the Bridge to Designer markets
